"Beauty is Confidence" 

but now 

"Makeup is Confidence"

Makeup is now correlated to Beauty. 

Without makeup:

"You look so Pale" 

"Are you Sick?" 

"You have Pimples?"

"You look better with Makeup on" 

*ouch* 

People pry on insecurities,

 pry on what make another fellow human

 insecure, unsure & doubtful of themselves 

without understanding the underlying meaning embedded within it. 

With makeup:

"You look so good today" 

You look lively" 

"You got the job"

"You're so pretty"

I admit,

the perks that comes with makeup is endless, 

one will feel better, regain confidence and

 even have better daily performances. 

However, what about 

the moment one is about to remove ones' makeup?

Does this strip away all the confidence, beauty and perks 

that comes with it?

How do they feel about themselves.

I mean, 

lets face it, 

that makeup face is not the real face, 

so, what is real here?

Feelings, Emotions, Personality:

differences between the makeup face and bare face 

Which brings me to my hypotheses,

makeup on a face, 

it's not just makeup on a face, 

it signifies much more. 

A lot of people do not realise the

Time, Money, Effort, Emotions 

invested in it. 

They just expect a face slapped with makeup and 

condone anyone that has a bare natural face 

Dull . Boring . Sick 

or 

anyone that lacks the skills or resources for makeup 

Poor . Messy . Disastrous 

It's so hard to please everyone, 

so just aim to please yourself,

because you're the one that matters the most.

Compliments are plus points in owning tattoos, 

however, 

if I were ever to get one, 

it has to be meaningful af. 

I don't believe in solely for the fun of it, 

yes, it's an experience, 

but, I would like my needle related experience to be a non-regretful one.

It needs to represent me, represent something dear to me.

 (I didn't use the word 'someone' for a reason,  don't be mindless)

I have the design ready (image above), 

now, 

I'm just waiting for that particular meaningful word, quote or incident that will suddenly strike me.

No rush. 

- Better be Patient than Sorry - 

I used to be judgemental towards people with tattoos, 

but now, 

probably due to college/ university exposure (with the right crowd),

I'm open to the possibilities.

Growing up is indeed a process that everyone must face, regardless of status, race and religion. 

However, no one told me that growing up is an easy task. 

I always face life with a 'go with the flow' kind of attitude, as I grow older, I realised that that's not the case anymore.

Things have gotten a little more complicated. 

People say growing up is to discover oneself, to know one's passion, personality and genuine feelings, but, they never mentioned the sacrifices and responsibilities embedded within. 

In the end, is it safe to say that growing up is also a journey to lose yourself, rather than discover yourself?

People say growing up is a journey to try new things, to be adventurous, however, they never mention how society would condemn you if you do not perform in ways society approve of.
