Fancy Eats; Fuego Troika Sky Dining
Greetings.
So, it's our 5th Anniversary,
I instantly knew where I wanted to celebrate it.
(P/s: he didn't pay for it alone, we had a spending plan going on *blog - soon* )
Fuego @ Troika Sky Dining
Great Food & Lively, Fancy Mexican Ambiance & Vibe, Mesmerizing View
Shall we?
We shall.
Soft Shell Crab as Nachos (RM40)
Fairly seasoned, crisps soft shell crab over a bed of guacamole
could satisfy anyone.
Pricey, but it's worth the try.
(Once, at least once)
Smoked Snails in a Jar (RM35)
The jar was opened at the table to showcase smoke escaping the jar,
it was amazeballs.
When they said smoked, they really meant it.
Loved the Zing from the sauce, Crips from the deep fried garlic slices,
and don't get me started with the chewy delectable snails!
Australian Grain Fed Rib-Eye - 350g (RM135) - Medium
Ze Sharing Platter.
Rubbed with Cambodian Kampot Pepper & Red Wine.
DEVINE . TENDER . JUICY . FLAVOURFUL .
It goes madly well with the Grelot Onion Onion Sauce on the side.
Indeed a dish to savor.
Spinach Hashbrown (RM25)
Delicious, simply delicious.
It's somewhat like Crispy Noodles - Potato Version.
The yogurt really compliments the hashbrown,
lifting the flavors and texture up a notch.
Coconut Horchata (RM30)
I wouldn't mind paying for great desserts,
but this WASN'T the case.
It was an utter disappointment,
the whole dessert tasted like an expensive bowl of MUESLI,
with raisins, rice crispy & grains.
The coconut sorbet is more like creamy ice cream,
and with the rise in coconut ice cream availability (eg: Sangkaya),
it's not special anymore, and definitely not worth the price.
I regretted my decision for ordering this dessert,
as dramatic as it sounds,
it ruined the whole dining experience (okay, maybe not),
but it made the end of the meal - BLEH.
Overall, the dining experience here was a special one,
especially the view!
Pictures Below:
FYI: No Air-Conditioning, OPEN AIR CONCEPT
*Imagine the Sweat*
This is the only decent picture we have from that night,
we basically asked every waiter/waitresses to help us snap a picture,
it was very frustrating.
They should know the right angles,
the view is here, the service is here.
THEY NEED THE ANGLE SKILLS.
- The View Conquered All -
Posing in the middle of the restaurant - Yup.
The Entrance of Fuego
The Entrance of Cantaloupe -
A very expensive Fine Dining Restaurant.
I shall wait for the day my wallet permits to dine here.
- a girl can dream -
Note: Make an early reservation, they only have 2 slots:
630pm and 9pm
Once in awhile,
with the right person,
it's worth it.
